Accentuate any event with your very own troupe of holiday costume characters. Rainbow Promotions offers one of the largest selections of holiday characters in the Delaware Valley. Our professional actors and actresses will mix with your guests or customers and help to put them in the holiday spirit. Santa Claus
No Christmas celebration would be complete without you're very own Santa Claus! All of our Santas are professionally trained and smartly costumed to meet up to the standards of even the most discriminating of children. They can be used to greet guests or customers; stroll throughout your setting; have souvenir photographs taken with; or pass out holiday gifts. Please note that our Santas are only available for short term rental and not for weekly or monthly periods.

Mrs. Claus
Of course we can not leave out Mrs. Claus either. She has become almost as popular as
Santa himself, lending kind words and comfort to those little ones who may be a bit scared to meet with Santa. She is the consummate helper who has all the patience in the world to add just the
right touch of holiday spirit!

The Mistletones
These Dicken's Christmas Carolers come costumed in elegant Victorian costumes and have perhaps the best four part harmony we have heard in some years! They offer both strolling and concert style performances. They also offer engaging stories and skits from the Dickens era.

 


Toy Soldiers On Stilts
Want to make an impression in a BIG way! Our stilt walking toy soldiers are just the thing to attract a crowd, greet customers/guests or lead a Santa Parade. Beautifully costumed and very entertaining, these stilted performers will be the hit of your season.



Poinsettia Mime
Poinsettia Mime is "Blooming For The Holidays" and offering both thirty minute stage performances as well as strolling entertainment. Celebrating the magic of the season her program contains such antics as the candy cane soft shoe and building a snowman. Wonderfully comic and full of audience interaction!





Segal Holiday Puppet Theater
Segal Puppets is a touring theatrical company that will come to your location equipped with stage, sound system and lighting to offer these original live holiday treats for all ages -

North Pole Fun - a delightful tale about the diversity of holiday celebrations at this time of year from Christmas to Chanukah to Kwanzaa.

Bartholomew Bear's Moon Myth Adventure - a classic and favorite story about one bear's incredible adventure, but with a holiday twist.


Holiday Brass Bands
Return to the early 1800's and celebrate Christmas in the traditional manner with our Victorian costumed brass bands. These groups are available in a variety of sizes from trios up to seven pieces. Instrumentation can vary but primarily is a mixture of Trumpet, Tuba, Trombone and French Horn. The music selections offered vary from traditional holiday pieces to well known popular tunes. Our brass groups are ideal in creating the perfect atmosphere for any holiday event.



Old Time Horse & Carriage Rides
Whether to bring Santa to your location or to provide your guests or customers with a special treat, there is nothing like the sight of these antique horse drawn carriages. They add something special to any holiday event and bring a bit of the Old World tradition to the modern day. (Weather contingent).



A Dickens Christmas
Celebrate an old fashioned, 19th century style, Christmas, just as it was brought to life in the writings of Charles Dickens. This package is custom tailored to your setting and needs but can feature - Strolling Dickens Characters, Victorian Pickwick Theatrical Players, Victorian Voices (costumed carolers), Victorian Style Strolling Puppet Theater, Dickens Jugglers, Antique Brass Bands, and much more to keep the tradition alive!

The Magic Of The Holidays

Combine the holiday illusions of award winning magician, Michael Bonacci with the dance talents of Music and Motion and you have a true holiday spectacular. Break dancing teddy bears, ballerina sugar plum fairies, hip hoppin frosties, tap dancing toy soldiers are interwoven with incredible feats of magic and large scale illusions.

Music & Motion is a fresh, original, six member dance troupe, incorporating a combination of dance styles from ballet to jazz, tap, lyrical, modern, funk, and hip hop. With colorful costumes, great music and incredible movement, they have put a whole new twist on the holidays. But most of all, Music & Motion memorizes audiences. No matter what the event, they are able to raise the energy level and excitement in a matter of seconds. Guests and customers respond with enthusiasm and find themselves caught up in the excitement as they move to the rhythm created by this multitalented group.

Breakfast With Santa
Breakfast, Lunch or Dinner with Santa - this package was especially designed for retail stores, restaurants, malls, social organizations and corporations. You provide the meal and we provide the trimmings and entertainment to make this a truly memorable occasion. Brownstone Puppets Holiday Theater
The Brownstone Puppets have created a very special holiday show entitled, "Annabelle Bear's Christmas Celebration". The Brownstones have created a puppet world that is colorful, humorous, magical and thoroughly entertaining. What can be more enchanting at Christmas time than your favorite teddy bears come to life!



The Magic of Christmas
Rainbow Promotions represents a wide variety of professional magicians that can add to any holiday celebration. Two formats are offered for your events or celebrations. The first format is a full stage show featuring live animals, a variety of illusions and loads of audience participation. Or for more intimate occasions, our magicians can stroll throughout your setting doing close-up magic or slight of hand with a variety of smaller objects. Whatever format you select, holiday themes can be incorporated into the magical routines insuring that audiences of all ages are left spellbound and filled with the wonders of the holiday season.


Holiday Airbrush Facial Decorating with Peanut Butter
From delicate and dainty to wildly outrageous, Peanut Butter artists are all the rage when it comes to parties and special events. In full make-up, with elegant and glitzy costumes, these artists create unique facial decorations and designs on your guests. With airbrush, jewels, rhinestones and feathers, Peanut Butter Artists create a complete holiday fantasy in make-up. . There is simply nothing like it for entertainment value and artistry.



Juggling Elves
The merry making of our juggling elves is always popular with audiences of all ages. Colorfully costumed, these jugglers display brilliant feats of dexterity utilizing such objects as Christmas ornaments, balls, clubs, rings and even Christmas chimes. This troupe will juggle their way in to your heart as they juggle throughout your setting.

Holiday Sing-A-Longs
Ideal for holiday house parties or small corporate get-togethers, our pianists/vocalists will have everyone singing the seasons most memorable songs. Don't worry if your guests don't remember all the words, we supply an ample number of songbooks so everyone can join in. Our musicians can supply an electric piano but this event is most suitable for those who have a piano on site.



Christmas Crafts
Our staff of arts and crafts instructors has created this special program just for the holidays. It allows everyone to have fun and walk away with his or her own special creation with little or no mess to clean up. This year's offerings are:

Constructed from craft foam, these kits contain all the pieces needed
to make a holiday bracelet.

to make a holiday reindeer.

Make A Christmas Ornament
Youngsters get a chance to create their very own    Christmas tree ornament ready for hanging.

Holiday Greeting Cards
A wide variety of materials are provided for children to    use their own imagination and create a unique holiday card for a loved one.

Holiday Balloon Wizardry
Our resident balloon wizards, have created a menagerie of holiday creatures and sculptors that will be sure to amaze both children and adults alike. From reindeer to holiday hats, these balloon sculptures make great giveaways and always attract attention to any event.

Mummer's New Years Preview
Enjoy a sneak preview of what is to come for the New Year's celebration in Philadelphia. Imagine a fully costumed Mummer's String Band strolling throughout your setting, playing their own style of music and strutting their stuff. This popular Philadelphia attraction is sure to draw the crowds.



Storyteller Ray Gray
For over twenty-one years Ray has been telling stories to audiences of all ages. Endorsed by the PA Council on the Arts and the Pennsylvania Humanities Council, his work is widely acclaimed. Revel in such original holiday tales as "The Christmas Snow Man" and others as told in a dramatic, audience capturing style that is Ray Gray. A great holiday program!!!!



Holiday Caricatures
These caricatures make great holiday gifts! Created by one of our many professional artists, these portraits will become the talk of any event. On average, it takes four to six minutes to create a drawing, which may be done in either color or black and white. For an added effect, each drawing can be personalized with a company name or special holiday message.


Digital DJ's Xmas
Full computerized and stocked with gigabytes of holiday music, these DJs can pull up and play in an instant all you holiday favorites from Bing Crosby to Mariah Carey. Great for background music for holiday parties. They also bring a full range of other music from top forty to jazz and dance music for just about every occasion.



Holiday Photo Gallery
Choose between two hand painted background sets in which to have your Polaroid photograph taken - the traditional fireplace with decorated Christmas tree or Santa's sleigh in silhouette over the rooftops at night. Custom sets are also available upon request. These make for unusual holiday gifts as each photograph comes in its own cardboard frame, which may be imprinted with your company's message or greeting. This promotion is completely self-contained as everything is supplied - the photographer, cameras, & film.




A Country Christmas
When it comes to Country Music, there is none better in this region than Country Joe Liptock. Enjoy all your country favorites as well as a special presentation of Country holiday classics. This four to five piece band has toured Nashville and throughout the United States but is native to the Delaware Valley and always home for the holidays.




Who Can't Use Cash For The Holidays?
This is the latest craze for the holiday season. Guests or customers, one at a time, step into a special clear cash cube that stands 4' feet wide by 4' long by 8' tall. The player is then cheered on as they grab through a blizzard of airborne dollar bills (play money), which they must stuff as many as possible into and apron before the time runs out. These bills can then be traded in for prizes or special holiday discounts.



Holiday Forecasts
Our troupe of Psychics will both entertain and mystify your guests as they conduct a variety of psychic readings in time for the holidays and New Year. Available are skilled palm readers, tarot card readers, astrologers, and readers in numerology and psychometry. All of the readings are kept in a positive light by these costumed performers and are sure to add to any event or celebration.




Christmas 50's Style
The Sharps, a four piece rock n'roll band, have done it again with a special holiday program of all 50's music that will have you moving to the beat. Enjoy all the 50's classics with a holiday twist - Rockin' Around The Christmas Tree, Jingle Bell Rock, Run Rudolph Run, Merry Christmas Baby, Mambo Santa Mambo, A Surfer's Christmas List and many others. For something different for the holidays, this is a must.
 

Santa On A Fire Truck? - A Miniature One That Is
Our miniature fire engine, also gas powered, can lead your parade with Jolly Saint Nick steering the way! This replica antique fire engine can also hold other characters, celebrities or guest riders. It can travel in almost any area and is always a big hit.

Santa Parade
Have Santa arrive at your location in a big way - accompanied by a full troupe of some of the liveliest holiday characters. Santa will be escorted by a brass band, Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer, Frostie The Snowman, a holiday mime, two balloon sculpting clowns, Mrs. Santa and your choice of two other of our holiday characters. This troupe will perform for your guests and customers as they lead Santa to his chair, where he can meet with all the youngsters.


Christmas Elves
Our large troupe of Christmas elves has cooked up the very best in holiday high- jinx.
They are ideal for any holiday celebration and can add loads of fun with skills in comedy magic, slapstick, balloon sculpting and face painting. They are ideal for strolling through out your setting with their own brand of merriment.

Feliz Navidad
Synthesis is a hot group that combines Latin, jazz and rock elements and plays authentic Latin and World Beat music. For over twenty years, Synthesis has performed in Mexico and the United States. Based in the Philadelphia area for the last 18 years,we have appeared in concerts, nightclubs and private parties Formed in Vera Cruz, Mexico by guitarist, vocalist, percussionist and composer Lazaro Herrera, they have become known for bringing irresistible Latin and Caribbean rhythms to local dance floors! The group's influences include Cuban, Brazilian, Mexican, South and Central American, and Jamaican music. Salsa, cumbia, merengue, bossa nova, samba, rhumba, mambo, cha cha, reggae and calypso, as well as jazz and rock, are all combined into a unique Synthesis of styles. Synthesis plays familiar hits and new original music, all with a Latin twist. Our infectious dance beats have been known to drive audiences wild, combining Latin and American instruments into a unique sound.
